Thunder Tea Bee Hoon

I am going out of order for this post, because it would probably make more sense to review the thunder tea dishes back to back. This was one of my most recent vegan eats (in 2024), and I jumped on the rare opportunity to get their bee hoon version of the dish when I saw it available on food delivery. I have to be honest, I liked this dish a lot more than their brown rice version, although I'm not sure if it's purely because of the use of #beehoon instead of #brownrice (as someone who really dislikes brown rice), or because I have grown to appreciate the #nourishing properties of thunder tea since 2022, when I had the brown rice version from this stall. This time, I actually ordered the dish with the 'tea', and I didn't even realise I was supposed to dilute it further with the instructions, and drank it directly, yet I still enjoyed it. I do really like this dish, especially with the bee hoon, but I doubt it is my favourite rendition, primarily because of the addition of #peanuts, because something about the texture feels off to me. However, I do appreciate that they separate the peanuts with deliveries and will check for peanut allergies if you order in person, which is pretty important. Besides bee hoon and peanuts, the dish comes with other typical ingredients, like #tofu, #beans, #longbeans and #cabbage. Unlike the brown rice version, I would actually get this unique dish again if I am craving thunder tea and happen to be at Fortune Centre.
