This was one of the less memorable parts of the vegan tasting menu. A second palate cleanser almost, if you like. Less flavourful than the first one, in fact 😬 The shaved ice took all the tartness out of the #apple, and the #coconut and #cucumber didn't quite carry enough punch. Maybe I'd been conditioned by how heavy the previous dishes were to expect something richer!
Gaa is a #finedining establishment set in a leafy part of Sukhumvit, with an elegantly minimalist and spacious dining room. Run by Garima Arora, a Michelin star holder while still in her 30s, it offers 13-course carnist and vegetarian tasting menus, the latter of which is veganisable upon request. The food is #indian in style but #thai in its use of ingredients. Dinner will set you back THB4,700 + 17% in taxes and service charge, but it'll be money well spent I promise 🥰
