My boyfriend ordered this dish because he said his family loves getting it at non vegan restaurants. Unfortunately he was slightly disappointed with this veganized version since it was completely lacking the fresh leaves, so the flavor wasn’t exactly reminiscent of the real thing. I personally had never had this dish vegan or not, and I thought it was pretty good. It was yummy to eat paired with white rice. Even though it was good, I don’t know if I’d get it again just because this is a “ground beef” dish, so veggie beef pieces are small, and I prefer a fuller meat dish.
