Shiitake Escargot

My sister-in-law (second pic) and I had a girl's dinner at this #restaurant. She luckily loves #mushrooms so we were able to split a lot of things. 🍄 🍄 🍄 I love that this was an entirely #vegan spot! This was described as "Decadent Shiitake Mushrooms, Rich Garlic Butter & Melted Mozzarella Cheese. Served with a Toasted Baguette for dipping." It was #decadent alright! Lol!! So delicious. A perfect #appetizer. Very buttery and garlicky. This was priced at $14.

They gave us this for free (presumably because we go there a lot)! I’ve never had a non vegan place do that. The atmosphere’s awesome. The dish itself was also surprisingly good (escargot sounds disgusting but it turns out it’s pretty awesome when it’s made out of mushrooms instead of bugs). It’s super buttery and garlicky.
