The Shakshuka was really beautifully cooked. Pretty tasty. I love how beautiful the beans were cooked. And the aubergine almost melted in my mouth. I also loved the mix of tahini yoghurt and hollandaise, a lovely combination of flavours added even more to the already rich dish. It’s served ith some toasted sourdough too, and is a pretty big portion too: I packed half home so i could also enjoy their drinks and pastries. It’s great for sharing too.
You can also request add-ons if you like, but even eoin its own there’s a lot going on with this dish. So good. Fully vegan cafe in Hackney that’s all kinds of adorable. All-day brunches, sandwiches and vegan rolls, and lots of sweet treats. Their food is just so beautiful and tasty and beautiful and beautiful. Their drinks menu is also pretty exciting. Major allergens are labelled. WAVE also includes a QR Code on their menu that links a spreadsheet listing ingredients for each dish, I wish more places would do the same.
