pizza siciliana senza acciughe/mozzarella

there is a Rossopomodoro in town and i appreciate they offer vegan cheese but i prefer to #supportlocalbusiness & #supportsmallbusiness so . . . I was meeting 2 vegan friends for dinner and called every #pizzeria in town and they were happy to let me bring my own vegan cheese here. Oddly, they put the cheese on after the pizza cooked but it did melt with the heat of the pizza. the #pizzacrust was delicious. The traditional Siciliana has #carciofi/ #artichoke, #olive and #acciughe/sardines. they had absolutely no problem with a special order. all of the staff were very friendly. they have a large outdoor area and it is just up the street from the Lago di Varese, where you can walk off your #pizza after dinner. two svassi/grebes canoodling on the lake. I was lucky enough to see them do their nest building dance. You can't see how beautiful they are from the photos.
