Nasi Lemak

Nasi lemak is a Malay dish and is considered a national dish of Malaysia. It is not surprised to find this popular dish in an Indian vegetarian restaurant. I like 😍 nasi lemak rice which is cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. The fragrant 🌴 coconut rice is the soul of this dish. The toppings for nasi lemak is usually very basic such as veg ikan bilis / "anchovy", peanuts, sambal chilli, etc. Nasi lemak used to be a breakfast item but it has become an all-time favourite.
