mushroom calamari

This is one of the best vegan dishes I have ever had. Super crispy and tastes 95% like calamari. Apparently it’s made out of oyster mushrooms. Although it’s just an appetizer, the portion size was very good and the price only $17, most of their other dishes are more expensive. The restaurant is vegetarian, but this dish is already vegan so no need to remove any ingredients. The indoor area of this restaurant is really pretty and they also have a small patio outside overlooking Melrose.
