Miso Noodles

They perfected this! 🤤 Perhaps I’ve been away too long but pretty much everything tastes better in #Penang 🏝️ This was so much more #umami than I remember & the #miso so much more thick 🫘 Perhaps it’s the #seaweed too 🪸 I still think the choice of #noodles aren’t great but… it is what it is 🤷‍♀️ Hopefully they’ll add a #ramen option in the future? #bestpicks #noodlelover

Perhaps my tastebuds were just shot after their many other powerful dishes https://www.abillion.com/reviews/6414416d4878f377365801a4 🫲😅 🫱 https://www.abillion.com/reviews/641432d34878f3243a5717d1 The #noodle was perfectly pleasant in that nice bouncy QQ bite 😋 Taking a big ol’ slurp of hot #soup was nothing short of comfortingly therapeutic ☺️ There’s not much to say about the straightforward veggie, mushroom and #blackfungus other than it felt fresh 👍 The seaweed certainly helped imbue more umami into the broth 😛 Also, the #tofu is a #seafoodtofu 😗 So! This had a chewy bouncy bite with a fish-cakey flavour. RM16 is alright for our modern day standards but i would’ve been more confident praising it with more seasoning 🥸 Every dish I’ve here has still been sensational through! 🤪

Oh Sly 🥰 I’m just as keen as you are for these noodles! #throwback to me and my vegan oomfies ordering a whole bunch of dishes to share 😋 These #noodles were not at all what I expected them to be! I was surprised that they went for that the maggi style #instantnoodles instead of #ramen considering this is #miso noodles but it was nice nonetheless 🍜 They do pick up more of the broth flavour for sure! Shame though that it wasn’t too flavourful in spite of its rich and otherwise lush appearance. It also didn’t have too much in the way of toppings; #tofu, a variety of #mushroom including #hericiummushroom / #monkeyheadmushroom 🍄, and black #fungus 👮‍♂️ For RM16, I can’t say it’s too worth it really. It tastes #toohealthy for my liking and could do for more variety in terms of content. More greens perhaps? 🤷‍♀️ #candobetter #throwbackthursday #foxesofabv
