Lor Mee

Tasty and reasonable at $4.50 It’s convenient located above Bishan bus interchange But realised it’s not a good food choice as there’s a lack of greens

Lor mee with yellow mee and char siew and mock duck and crispy skin. It is filling just nice for 1 pax. Perhaps because it was evening time, hence there was no fresh veg left to put on top🤔

I was surprised by how close it looked to normal lor mee! The ingredients were pretty nice; flavourful and crisp fried tofu skins, and there were even little mock bits of fried pork skin. Vegetarian char siew and meat were okay. The sauce was more runny than usual and less rich. Noodles were like a thicker and slightly chewier mee pok. Tasted fine; not as close to the real deal as I’d hoped and had a slightly odd aftertaste. Queue was pretty fast despite being long!
