Lemon chicken

My very first job as a teenager (long before vegan days) was at a Chinese takeaway, and I used to eat lemon chicken by the bucketload. This version tastes just like I remember 🤤 (actually better, because the cruelty-free equivalent is obvs superior ✌🏼). Delicious crispy deep fried chick’n pieces in a sweet sticky lemony sauce. Lots of sauce in the bottom of the dish too, which was nice! A very generous serve, think it was $15 plus $1 for rice. Despite having a full restaurant, we must’ve only waited about 10 minutes for our meals - amazed at their speediness and the staff are very friendly. Such a great little spot and excellent value.

Omg! This is what I have been looking for! It was a fave that I haven’t been able to find for some time and now… I have! They even gave lots of sauce which hardly anywhere does. So I was very happy!
