Katsu Curry Don

Easily one of my favourite curry dishes to date! Incredible flavours and mock chicken texture with ginger to compliment. Ask for extra hot if you’d like to take it to the next level. Lovely staff and restaurant too, I’ve been going there for years and would highly recommend!

One of the chef’s specialties at Ren Dao Vegetarian and one of my, my partner’s and my sister’s favourite meals ever! I love both the rich Japanese gravy sauce (which we get with extra chilli) and the panko-crumbed soy cutlet. This more traditional mock meat is a lot lighter than a lot of the mock meat you can get these days, which I prefer. There was a time when my partner and I got this every week on takeout night. The restaurant is vego, but most of its dishes are 100% vegan :).
