Japanese Matcha Tofu Cake

Sorry for the awkward camera angle but my #vegan compatriots were ravenously waiting 😅 I’m not a huge #matchalover or a #cake lover so I should’ve seen this coming 😗 Not unlike their chocolate cake I’ve had, I thought this was too stiff of a peak 🫣 The matcha is well-pronounced so at least there’s that. @dafnelately and @waterlily seemed to enjoy it though 🙂 It’s a much lighter kind of #vegancake 🍰 It looks like they incorporated a dollop of #matcha next to the #whippedcream too so it’s that much more forward. It’s not too sweet but there was a strange grainy mouthfeel I don’t love 🫤 RM18 is standard pricing for this place. That’s to say it’s PRICEYY 😵‍💫 Yeah… I’d say it’s best to stick to their savoury mains 😛
