Hummingbird

I wanted something light and sweet on this warm spring evening, and a drink with watermelon sounded perfect! This drink is made from watermelon, basil, lime juice & zest, and dry vermouth. Unfortunately I didn't taste as much basil as I would have liked to. The vermouth gave it a nice well rounded botanical taste though. Ladybird does not carry any liquor, just wine, sherry, and vermouth, so all of the cocktails are pretty light.
