Ham and Cheese Toastie

Fresh bread toastie with a delicious savoury filling - you can truly taste the high quality of the mock meat and cheese they use at Black Rabbit. My wretched mouth struggles with crusty, chewy bread but in spite of this it was sooooo enjoyable to eat. We got it with American style mustard and it was perfection 💛😋

This was my choosing on our trip back to Black Rabbit and it did not disappoint!😍 Again, the toastie is freshly made to order in front of you, they also ask if you’d like mustard on it -options are either English or Dijon-, I chose Dijon! And it tasted so good!!!the vegan cheese (smoked Gouda)they use is one of the best I’ve tasted! It doesn’t melt completely, which normally I wouldn’t be a fan of but it’s so lovely and soft I hardly noticed😍 the Tofurky ham they used was also super tasty! And the thicc sourdough bread is just 💋🤌 Such a filling lunch, for £5.50 it’s certainly waaaay better than chain coffee shops’ toasties!! Black Rabbit has recently opened for takeaway, I chose to try a classic cheese and ham toastie. I was really surprised at the generous amount of cheese and ham and the bread was super delicious. My only gripe was the cheese could have been melted but it was amazing anyway. 😍

Uh-maz-ing 💕 The bread was thicc, the cheese melted well, and they used the Tofurkey smoked ham which is my favourite. Zero complaints 🥪
