Just because there's turmeric in there does not mean it's healthy (their website claims - "healthy and great for detox"). Because I found out today they use a Nescafé/Nestle creamer even with the plant based milk as the base. I assume it's a non-dairy, hydrogenated oil, corn syrup creamer.
Not sure if this is in all the drinks because the matcha latte was not sweet. When I asked what sweetener was used in the turmeric latte, they said it's in the creamer. And that must have been quite a bit of creamer because the drink is extra sweet. I thought it must be an in-house syrup or sugar, but this is worse and just unfortunate. Just some months back I was raving about Flash because of the plant based milk (which are also not really a detox) options and flavours they offer. Now I have my doubts on the quality (all the more since they aim to be affordable) and the consistency of what they say is in the drinks.
I actually picked the drink thinking it was the healthier of the non coffee options. If you do get this for the same reason, please ask if they can omit the creamer (and remove misleading claims...). The nutty and spiced taste with oat milk was not bad in itself.
