After far too long of a hiatus, I am back! I’m travelling around Asia for the next 7 months, so stay tuned for some vegan eats from this side of the world! My first review back is for none other than Vegan Banh Mí in Hanoi, Vietnam! These pillow dumplings are unbelievably delicious. Crispy on the outside & filled to the brim with a delicious mushroom and noodle filling inside. Served with fresh herbs & a vegan fish sauce on the side, this is a MUST try at this restaurant. I ate at Vegan Banh Mí maybe eight times while I was in Hanoi - and I wish I could have gone more. This place is owned and run by a small Vietnamese family who went vegan several years ago. Soon after, they decided to only serve vegan food at their restaurant and they lost all their business overnight. Thankfully, they have now rebuilt a customer base and were completely full during a handful of my visits. Their young daughters are also so lovely and incredible conversationalists. This place is truly special and a MUST visit if you are ever in Hanoi ❤️
