Fried Chick’n Sandwich

This was definitely good, just not as good as I had hoped. The texture of the chicken was a bit off & not as crispy as I would have wanted.

Finally got to try Renegades of Sunset which is a 100% vegan spot at Industry City!! Got today’s special which was the fried chick’n sandwich. House-made seitan battered and fried. The flavor was outrageously delicious. Topped with fresh cut beefsteak tomato, lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, pickles and ranch. The ranch was so fresh and flavorful. The herbs in it were fragrant and tasty. The breading on the seitan was fantastic. The seitan was flavored well but I wish it were a little bit firmer for more of a bite. The sandwich was huge for $14 well worth it. Would be nice to come with some French fries or chips. I’d get this again for sure and of course try everything else on the menu!
