Described as oven-baked coconut-banana millet bread french toast with mixed berry coulis, cinnamon, fruit, ginger butter, and maple syrup, the dish is more like french toast bites. Very tasty and a beautiful presentation. I would have liked more berry coulis, as the artistic smear across the plate, was lovely but not sufficient.
This is my FAVORITE meal ever!! The berry compote is incredible and the toast is the right amount of fluffy. I don't know how this dish is vegan but I'm not complaining. The maple 'butter' also goes so well with the dish. Highly recommending! Good serving as well!
Pingala cafe’s french toast is described as oven-baked coconut-banana millet bread with mixed berry coulis, cinnamon, fruit, ginger butter, and maple syrup. You can see from the picture it’s more like French toast bites not actual pieces of toast. Regardless of the final form, it’s delicious. Moist and fluffy and extremely flavorful. My only criticism is the berry coulis was so thin on the plate, it was hard to get on the toast. This all vegan cafe is a must visit in Burlington We also had the Benedict and the breakfast sandwich.
