Farmacy Benedict

🥑 I was super excited to see a play on #eggsbenedict which was a favorite of mine when I was an omnivore. This is a #veganrestaurant which have their own farm in Kent to supply the #allveganrestaurant. They are closing to relocate closer to the farm on July 7th so I thought we should try it while we have a chance. This was shockingly expensive at £19.50 but for the originality, attention to detail, and fresh #organic farm sourced ingredients I’ll pay it. There was a #glutenfree protein muffin at the bottom that was quite crumbly. Then roasted #portobello mushrooms 🍄‍🟫on top of that with sautéed seasonal greens like #spinach 🌿on top. #eatyourgreens Then came the pea 🫛and #avocado #guacamole which was formed in a ball emulating the yolk. 🍳Last was the beautiful #hollandaise which I couldn’t really taste much of with all the other flavors going on in this. This felt really healthy and fresh and my partner preferred this dish of the three we tried. I enjoyed it but it was almost #toohealthy. Regardless I want to #saveveganrestaurants so you should check this place out. #veganlondon #londoneats

Piatto molto buono composto da funghi Portobello coperti di salsa su waffles salati e verdura cruda. Non do il massimo solo perché non ha nulla di ‘Benedict’ e risulta un po’ monotono. #veganinlondon

Excellent take on the tradition ‘eggs benedict’. The Farmacy Benedict used Mushrooms as it’s base. The hollandaise was nice but tasted a tad too much on the tumeric tasting side but other than that, the whole dish and restaurant was incredible.

Tastes healthy but at the same time has lots of flavor. Loved the vegan hollandaise sauce

If there is a vegan Benedict on the menu then my dining choice is made easy. The base of the Farmacy Benedict is a seeded muffin toasted to perfection; while the top, the critically important hollandaise sauce, is superb. Tofu or other egg replacement would have been welcome but you eat at Farmacy with the understanding that fresh and local vegetables take center stage. Pricey - but worth it - Farmacy is a garden oasis in Notting Hill, West London.
