croissant hazelnut

This was one of the most amazing pastries I’ve eaten in my life. If you’re in Berlin, you have to try FREA’s croissants. It was so flakey, crispy, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet with #hazelnut butter inside. Even better than the croissants I remember from my non-vegan days! We made a special stop here on our last morning in the city and I’m so glad we did! #croissant #veganpastry #bakery

L'impasto è lo stesso del croissant al pistacchio ma in questo caso qualcosa è andato storto con la cottura: parti del centro risultavano quasi crude. Il sapore comunque buono, grazie al fatto che la farcitura non era una crema tipo nutella ma solo di nocciole. Questa bakery era 100% vegan ma è di recente diventata vegetariana, tutte le paste dolci sono ancora vegane ma in quelle salate e nei piatti da ordinare dal menù ci sono uova e formaggi, oltre che latte vaccino per le bevande. Croissant di ottima fattura, sfogliato perfettamente e croccante al punto giusto. Sapore di nocciola ok ma sono stati un po’ tirchi di riempimento
