this black charcoal croissant with white chocolate filling was simply heavenly. the pastry of the croissant is so light yet so filling, with the right amount of sweetness, even the filling is just perfect! the flavours are never overpowering and frankly this might be due to the fact that Black Rabbit is an absolute guarantee! 🐰💜

Since going vegan, croissants are one of the things that I’ve missed most, so I was thrilled to find them on the menu of this all vegan bakery in my hometown! The pastry was a bit heavier than a vegetarian croissant (understandable given that it’s a very difficult thing to recreate without animal products), but the flavour and appearance were both bang on, and on the whole, I found it to be a really great recreation of an old favourite from my vegetarian days. Will definitely be back to try some of their other baked treats!
