The recent rainy season had me craving for hot bowl of noodles/soup/porridge recently. Dropped by
at fortune center area again and decided to give their kimchi ramen a go. This set comes with Gyoza but I opted for steamed ones instead as I am not really a big fan of the fried ones. The main highlight of this dish was in fact the soup base with the rich taste of gochuchang sauce. Despite the name, I do not really see any kimchi in the soup, just a medley of vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, mushrooms, tomato, corn and a couple of tofu puffs. Their steamed dumplings was good, in fact I find it better than the fried ones as the skin-to-filling ratio is much more balanced but I suggest that they can add a little sesame oil so that it doesnt stick together too much and makes it more tasty as well. My only gripe is the portion size which is a little small. I feel that they can add more protein like tofu and vegetables. That said, I still enjoyed this dish very much! #veganin2020
