Claypot Pork Belly with Salted Fish

Impressive vegan 三层肉 👍😋 The #porkbelly was reasonably realistic in taste and texture, and the sauce was a good complement. There was #beancurdskin, #blackfungus, #babycorn, and various sliced root vegetables. The promised #saltedfish was limited to a few cubes of this dodgy looking substance, which wasn't particularly salty or fishy, but which instead brought a nice dash of black bean/wok hei 🙂 They do use non-plastic receptacles for dry dishes, which this unfortunately wasn't 🙁 They use egg and dairy in their cooking but they're more than happy to accommodate dietary stipulations, see 4th picture 🙂
