Chocolate Cupcake (vegan)

Some Crust does not keep vegan cupcakes on hand for grab and go but it’s easy to special order them. Unfortunately they only have white or chocolate options at this time. Since the only GF option was white, we went with chocolate for the vegan option. I’m not personally a fan of chocolate cake (I know, weird, right?) so my “taste” rating is more from my students’ perspective; they really enjoyed the flavor. I split one with my colleague. The texture of the cake was great! Moist and soft. The frosting was more of a whipped one (and I’m a buttercream girlie) and though quite sweet, it felt light. They let us have a mix of vanilla frosting and chocolate frosting, which was thoughtful. Though these are not my personal preference type cupcakes, they are definitely high quality and beautifully made. Recommend for the chocolate cupcake lovers! #cupcakes #vegancupcakes #chocoholic
