This was one of their specials for the day we visited.
The baguette was easily 12" long, fresh & both moist & crusty, lovely in itself, but stuffed with lettuce, onion & tomatoes & heaped with chunky moist chicken style pieces with a nice texture & tasty mayo.
The 4 people in my group all had a substantial piece & all thoroughly recommended it.
It's pretty much a meal in itself though you may like another side dish if you're very hungry, or can't resist sampling some of the many other vegan delights on offer.
The 'Be Kind' cafe is a 100% vegan, licensed cafe at The Retreat Animal Rescue in Kent (https://www.retreatanimalrescue.org.uk/) & all profits go to running the animal rescue.
There is covered outdoor seating, & you may be accompanied by one of their many rescued free-roaming chickens, ducks or peacocks, & there are lots of other beautiful rescued animals nearby. Also an amazing value thrift shop.
If you're not local they even have glamping cabins so you can book a stay.
Absolutely worth a visit - for the food, seeing some of their many 100's of rescued animals, & being in the lovely part of the Kent countryside.
