Chicken rice

Always a treat at Mummy Yummy 😌 A simple #chickenrice meal for lunch - love the sambal and chicken rice chilli. Rice was v flavorful! A little plain without the cabbage so I added it and it went perfectly well with the dish #veganin2020

Rather standard chicken rice. I liked the rice and the crispy soy piece around the fishcake (didnt really like the fishcake itself). The fake chicken is okay, it was cold. #veganisnotscary

I like their rice but the misses will be their chilli as it’s quite tasteless and not spicy at all. Well portion, I’m not going back for chicken rice with them again. Probably try their other dishes next time.

The rice for this was good enough to eat on its own, with a nice fragrance. The lady at the stall added vege to the dish on top of the cucumber. Chicken was a nice mix of crispy, chewy and smooth. Chilli sauce wasn't too overpowering.

The first (vegan or otherwise) chicken rice I tried after 8 years in Singapore, and it was a bit of a disappointment. The rice portion was rather small, and the rice itself was fairly tasteless. The chicken part was just okay. The main upside is that the place is pay-as-you-want and they donate the money
