guys… if this wasn’t a #special i would be ordering it all the time! this #breakfastburrito consisted of #blackenedtofu, #vegancheese, #veganranch, bell peppers, pico, and #frenchfries (omg!!!) all wrapped up in a flour tortilla… yum! it came with #blackbeans and #avocado #salsa on the side!
now, while i am not a #avocadolover, this #avocadosalsa was delicious! i even used my fries (from the other dish ordered) to clean the container… unfortunately, the black beans were not as tasty. i did not think they were #seasoned very well and i found they lacked any other flavor besides bean taste. beans are delicious, but i just felt these were a little watery and underseasoned for my taste.
the #veganburrito itself was a 10/10! the #fries were an unexpected and tasty addition to the burrito, and the #burrito itself is pretty hefty! i enjoyed that the bell peppers were fully cooked… sometimes other restaurants do NOT sauté their peppers enough and it really irks me 😭 handlebar has it mastered! the blackened #tofu provided a nice textural contrast to our lovely french fries and it brought that breakfast vibe together along with the pico… and who am i to complain about #ranch ?
honestly, i think this is about to make it onto my list of favorite dishes! i wasn’t a huge fan of the sides but the burrito itself is a must-try if they don’t take it off the menu 😭😭😭 (please, keep it permanently..!)
