This was another great brunch offering at the Fairly Dusted Drag Show! It looked daunting to eat with my hands, but it surprisingly was manageable and not too messy! The Maitake mushroom bits were so meaty and delicious. They had just a little spicy kick to them. The creamy chimichurri- type sauce on top helped cool down the heat. It provided a really nice fresh, herbaceous flavor to this sandwich. It was the most expensive thing on the small menu today at $15, but that's to be expected somewhat with these rarer mushroom varieties.
Root to Rise is a pop-up and catering business, so I always feel lucky when I'm at an event they're at!
