Happy Dragon boat 🐉 festival everyone!!! Since young, it has been a tradition for me to participate in the festivities and making Bak Zhang with my friends and neighbours!! I still remember my first time trying to fold the bamboo leaves filled with rice, back in primary school, and I was constantly failing and eventually dropping all the rice!! But over the years and after many community events, my skills did improve A LITTLE and they are more intact now!! Anws this year, Due to Covid restrictions, there weren’t any Bak Zhang folding sessions held, and I didn’t wanna risk doing it myself😂. So I decided to try out Mr Bean’s instead!! I love the texture of the glutinous brown rice!! I swear I’m in love 😍! The fillings inside were all quite good!! The chestnut & lion mane mushroom were both 💯. Overall, I would definitely buy this again!!
