There was a bit of a mix up before I ordered this - the server missed telling me my actual order (tacos) were out and as they were bringing my friends meals out I had to make a snap decision. This wasn’t the right decision and was based on hunger & the large glass of wine I had consumed waiting for my starter, which took a while.
I was given both salad & potatoes as an apology for the delay. It was far too much & even too much for me the day later for lunch. I would have preferred quality over quantity.
There isn’t that much that stands out in the actual taste of this burger. The description sounds incredible - but maybe I’ve just had a lot of great plant-based burgers and should have ordered some thing a little different? The apple and merlot come through but the Gorgonzola tastes like cashew goat cheese.
