Vegan bean stew with soya sausage, tofu and vegetables and a side of rice. Big portion and very tasty. After a lot searching online for vegan restaurants around this part of Portugal, I couldn’t believe my eyes when Príncipe do Alva popped up on my phone, and even better, I was standing right next to it. Apart from the vegan bean stew there was also a vegan salad on the menu, with mixed leaves and grilled vegetables, nuts and tofu. Not a lot of choice, but a great finding nonetheless. The bean stew kept me going for the rest of the day.
