香椿炸菇饭 Xiang Chun Mushroom Rice

A bit conflicted with this one 🤨 On the one hand, the #xiangchun #fried #hericiummushroom was incredible (see 2nd picture to save me a thousand words 😏), tenderness inside and light crisp + flavour on the skin 😋😋😋 But then there was the unadvertised "salad", basically three paper-thin slices of cucumber buried in dairy mayonnaise 😨 Opt out of the mayo to veganise; or, if you're like me and cannot stand most raw/unseasoned vegetables, just opt out of the whole thing 😒 The #whiterice was plain AF 😑 Should have taken the RM3 option to have nasi lemak instead 😪
