My omnivore family wanted to go to this traditional, local fish and chip restaurant. I’ve had their veg pie in the past but fancied something lighter on this occasion. The member of staff was really obliging about adding avocado to the basic mixed salad and providing an oil and vinegar dressing. It was a substantial plate of fresh #lettuce #tomato #cucumber #redonion #avocado and with the chunky chips it was very satisfying.
So far, Toff’s have resisted adding any other vegan dish to the menu apart from the veg pastie, but hoping my vegan charm offensive will get them thinking about some nofish 🤩
