my sister came to visit and we ate at one of my favorite restaurants.
We both agreed this #eggplant was cooked perfectly. the sauce was delicious - there was some kind of sesame flavor.
The second photo is a house appetizer they were offering everyone. It was delicious!
I have never been disappointed eating here.
since it was so close to my birthday, I celebrated again. 🎉

the last foto is a tree that has been attacked by something. every tree like this i have seen in roma is the same. I think it is an elm/olmo. #savethetrees

I heard from a friend today who is a qi-gong teacher who said that every day, we should breathe the air of trees. i love that. 🌳 🌲

Sì l’albero è un Olmo, purtroppo ammalato.
Qualche anno fa, mio figlio mi aveva spiegato che in città gli alberi si ammalano molto di più che in Natura, questo perché lungo i viali vengono piantati alberi tutti della stessa specie, quindi se un albero si ammala inevitabilmente attacca la malattia a tutti gli altri, inoltre le potature “estreme” che spesso fanno contribuiscono anch’esse a indebolire le piante rendendole più vulnerabili. 😞
