Walnut Chocolate Truffle Cake al The Digitale Chef - Vegan Patisserie Cafe — Recensione di veganosaurus (20 giu 2025)

Ordered this 1kg cake for a special occasion. The plain chocolate truffle cake is my favourite on The Digitale Chef’s menu, but wanted to get a different version of it so ordered the one with walnuts in it.

Everyone in my family enjoyed it. We were all so surprised to see the generous amount of walnuts spilling out of the cake. A whole layer of it between the sponge and ganache layers.

The sweetness is just right in the cake. The sponge is mildly sweet to balance out the very sweet ganache. The walnuts add to the texture and further balance out the ganache’s sweetness.

It was elegantly decorated but I missed clicking a pic of the entire cake. Just managed to grab this side view after slicing.

The next day I warmed a slice of this cake in the microwave. The chocolate melted beautifully and went into the sponge. Sooooo yum! 🤤
