So far, we chose some pretty iconic French dishes: escargot, French onion soup, and coq au vin. For our second entree we went for this very unique sounding dish. On the menu it's described as, "Seitan "duck" strips cooked in mustard and tarragon with green peas and carrots". The mustard kind of threw @jonok and I off, but we love mustard so we thought we'd just try something new and unexpected! I knew it'd be either delicious or off-putting. I'm so glad we chose this! It felt like a perfect spring dish. It was a good balance to the heavier coq au vin. This felt much lighter and had bright flavors. The "duck" was really nice and I thought the carrots were cooked perfectly! You really can't go wrong with peas too.

I am really happy to see how they rocked the french cuisine! 🤘
For one it looks amazing, and perfectly executed.
The french cuisine must be one of the hardest to make vegan… Hope they stay! 🤩🤞🏼
