There were 2 dessert options for the Khmer New Year menu! We goth both! First was an herbal jelly shaved ice. A very traditional Southeast Asian dessert that looks a little different in each country. This one had herbal jelly, mung beans, basil seeds, coconut meat, jackfruit, coconut cream and pandan palm syrup. It was not overly sweet, and definitely had some herbal and earthy notes. The ice gave it that fun texture and as it melted it slowly became the yummiest sweet soup. #asiandesserts 3.5 USD.
