I had to post this today because tomorrow is the last day for this special and YOU NEED TO GO GET IT! I rushed out to try it yesterday before the reallllly bad snow started (but during the beginning of it bc I knew it was my only chance. It was worth it!!)
For those who knew Apiecalypse in Toronto - the sauce on these is the exact sauce they used for their fat mac pizza. The owner shared the recipe with HH's owner for their anniversary pizza pockets this year, and then they used it again for this special. It's literally a big mac on fries. A Beyond patty broken up over fries with melted cheese, shredded lettuce, sesame seeds, the perfect little white onions (just like McD's burgers always had!) and then the perfect amount of the SPOT ON sauce. It's $20 bc the ingredients aren't easy to source but trust me, it's so worth it. I was honestly tempted to order another to eat right after haha.
Just FYI, you'll want to dine-in since fries don't travel well at all. They're open 11-9 tomorrow (Monday Feb 17) and I highly recommend you get there! I don't think these will be back nearly as often as I want them to be.
Also, HH is just the best place. Great staff, super safe space, accessible washroom. There's loud music so if you're sensitive, bring some earplugs.
