Maple Bar al Voodoo Doughnut - Broadway — Recensione di yourfriendjen (27 gen 2025)

Can't go wrong with a #voodoodoughnut after a night out 😅 the #donutshop is open extra late and is on a street with lots of bars, so it really is a natural way to end the evening. As you can see in the second picture, they have a large rotating display of all the donuts, and the vegan options are separate on the bottom tier. They also have menus all over the place clearly calling out which ones are vegan. At some places, the vegan versions look different from the non-vegan, but here they look identical--like it's the same flavors, just veganized! There's a donut place in Chicago called "Do-Rite" and they have completely different flavors and baking methods for the 3 vegan options so it's very clear you are getting something different.
The #maple bar was large and very sweet, maybe too sweet? But still totally delicious! I love a good fluffy #yeastdonut :) and I believe they have a deal during veganuary if you buy a dozen, but I was not about to do that haha
