This is perhaps the third time we’ve purchased these #korean plant-based rice balls from #traderjoes and they’re always a hit! My roommates aren’t vegan, but they still insist on these making it into our cart when shopping.
These are quick and easy to prepare and make a great snack or side of a meal.
Potential cons:
- cost: your mileage may vary on this one. Current a pack of 3 rice balls is $4.99 at my local Trader Joe’s.
- packaging: I don’t believe either the primary bag or the individual packaging is recyclable. Considering the size of the rice balls, it also feels a bit wasteful that the primary bag is as large as it is. #deathbyplastic
