I found these marshmallows at Grocery Outlet a while ago (probably a year ago) and the pumpkin flavour really excited me. Plus, they’re vegan and Dandies has probably set the standard for vegan marshmallows.
Despite sitting around for about a year, these marshmallows did not disappoint! The whiff of pumpkin when I opened the bag was wonderful. And their taste was equally wonderful. So authentic; non-vegans wouldn’t even know the difference. This is another fine example of a food that meets expectations and replicates what we’re used to but without the need to harm / exploit / kill animals.
A few nights ago, I put the marshmallows in a cup of (vegan) hot chocolate. I’m sure no one will complain that they’re vegan. I’ll have to bake with some of the remaining marshmallows.
I would definitely get this again. I don’t remember how much I paid, but it wasn’t much.
