Only in Italy 🇮🇹 can you get an amazing pizza on the side of the highway!
On our way down to Florence from Milan we noticed there was an Eataly at the Autogrill along the side of the highway so we had to stop. Eataly is like an Italian supermarket and restaurant where all the food is amazingly prepared and so fresh.
They even had a children’s seating area with playground for our girls and the staff were super friendly about changing anything to make it vegan. I got a marinara pizza and added mushrooms and artichoke.
While I had this on the side of the highway it was probably one of the best pizzas I had on the trip. Looking at the photo makes me want to go back. Even our younger daughter who is a picky eater had a piece in each hand!
