Again, copying @david-, I had to give this classic Bavarian dessert a try! This dish is essentially chopped up fluffy pancakes, with a caramelized sugar coating, raisins, nuts, powdered sugar, and a side of apple sauce. My grandmother gave it a 9/10, which is high praise from someone who grew up here! The pancakes were so fluffy, but kind of crunchy on the outside from the caramelized sugar. Very warm and comforting flavours, and very filling! 12 euros. #sweettooth #carbsforlife
