I’d never seen this #vegantiramisu in the chilled section of Waitrose before. It was clear I needed to indulge.
There are two cups of the pudding. I persuaded a non-vegan to sample one. As a connoisseur of desserts they were fairly impressed.
I enjoyed trying it too. It’s very sweet if that’s your bag, creamy, and the sponge base is soaked in coffee sauce which provides a taste of decadence. The top is dusted in cocoa powder.
A perfectly good substitute for dairy deserts.
Verdict- no need to harm animals.
