Plant-Based Hard Boiled Eggs del Wunder egg — Recensione di Iszy (5 lug 2024)

These are magical! Oddly, I didn't really like eggs before going vegan EXCEPT for hard boiled eggs. I think there was something about the powdery texture of the yolk that I actually enjoyed. Hard boiled eggs kind of seems like one of the last frontiers for vegan alternatives. Wunder Egg definitely is paving the way. These are really delicious. The texture of the white and yolk are distinct which is perfect. This pack of three eggs (six halves) comes with a black salt packet to give it that good sulfuric eggy flavor. I really enjoyed these plain, but they were really spectacular in a potato salad. I've only seen these at Whole Foods so far and they're quite expensive at around $8.99. The plastic tray they come in is also not great. I remember when Beyond burgers first came out they came in very wasteful trays, but they've figured out how to do without them now. I'm hoping Wunder Egg can find a better way to present their product as well.
