We both agreed that the classic flavour was best - let #currypuffs be curry puffs 😅 Not #barbecue #charsiew puffs or #coconut #pandan dessert wannabe puffs. Admittedly they put this in the sweets section of their menu, but no I'm not having that - have you ever seen anyone have these greaseballs for dessert? 😏

The plating was nonsensical. Curry puffs are traditionally served standalone in single-use plastic sachets, not atop a bed of raw greens while you keep #pretendingtobehealthy 😏 If there was one thing in particular going for them, it would be that, #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease and all, the pastry was so perfect for the first ten minutes after they were served. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and piping hot 😋 But be quick, it doesn't survive regression to ambient temperature 🥺

dafnelately Rubbish plating 🥱 however I do agree that curry puffs are a “sweet” and a dessert per their pastry nature 😛3 likesReply
