This is a great sauté #sauce with a really potent, multidimensional #garlic flavor. It’s super savory and tastes like a blend of #glutenfree coconut aminos and vinegar, plus loads of garlic. It really takes pan-seared onions to the level, and it’s delicious on noodles, too! #garliclover
I recently used it to make a version of black pepper tofu. I loosely followed this recipe: https://ottolenghi.co.uk/recipes/black-pepper-tofu-a but omitted butter, sugar, and kecap manis (I’m out;) added two cloves of mashed black garlic for sweetness; and used this pan sauce in place of light soy. The result was a super-flavorful dish that was completely devoured in minutes! Perhaps a bit untraditional, but my Taiwanese dad had seconds, so it must have been OK. Some Acid League products contain honey, but this one is thankfully vegan-friendly, and it comes in a cool glass bottle. I believe it was $4-5, but these products normally retail for about twice that, so I got a good deal. One of my favorite #groceryoutletfinds in recent memory!
