You can choose if you want your noodles in soup, or dried like this (soup on the side). You can also specify if you’d like it spicy or not (they’ll ask): the chilli sauce is quite tasty and worth considering. The noodles were springy and tasty. comes with some greens (not much), a bit of veggie mince and some pieces of crispy mushrooms, and a fried piece of wanton skin, which added a nice crunch to the dish. The seaweed soup that came on the side was also really tasty. I believe the dish is automatically vegan-friendly, but i specified anyway that i didnt want any egg etc, just in case.

Places like this really need to be supported and celebrated, especially since there aren’t enough vegetarian places in the Orchard Area. Midway between Orchard Train Station and the Botanic Gardens. 5th floor of the Far East Shopping centre. They sit near the lifts, stairs and the escalators. There is limited seating inside the shop, and they get quite crowded during the lunch rush. I felt i had to rush my meal to allow others a seat instead of enjoying my lunch with a book etc, but i’m sure that pressure is all self-imposed. In any case you can also opt to take away your meal if it’s too crowded. Service is pretty fast and food here is fairly reasonably priced, especially round these parts: a bowl of noodles set me back 6 sgd. friendly folks running the place.
