Calamachick Platter al Chickpea restaurant — Recensione di Veggie Meg (21 gen 2024)

Chickpea is one of my favourite vegan restaurants in Vancouver, and now that I think about it, the first fully vegan restaurant I ever went to before I was vegan. I love the format, you get to choose your main, and your style. We went for the calamachick - which is deep fried oyster mushroom, on a platter. The platter came with a massive pile of hummus, pita, salad and a big pile of their famous chickpea fries. This was more than enough for two people for lunch with lots of leftovers. The calamachick was remiscent of calamari, with a lovely tzatziki sauce drizzle. And the chickpea fries were as good as ever - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with an incredible mango sauce drizzle.
